About Us

About Blanco River Recovery Team

Communities are impacted significantly in disaster and people suffer because they don’t have the most basic needs available to them. Help us change that.

We have a simple mission: to assist in the long term recovery of survivors of the Memorial Day Weekend and All Saints Weekend Floods. The Blanco River Regional Recovery aims to help communities develop sustainable, ecological, simple, easy-to-maintain systems to get assistance to everyone who needs it.

Recent projects

September will kick off the return of some of the VOAD’s (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) that have partnered with BR3T in the past. These groups, such as World Renew work in disaster recovery all over this nation and bring teams of both skilled and unskilled workers that assist in rebuilding or repairing damaged homes. Additionally, we have multiple volunteer groups, typically faith based, that also donate their time and labor to help flood survivors clean up damage, rebuild their homes and restore their hope. During the month of July alone, BR3T hosted more than 650 youth and adult volunteers on mission trips from across Texas and from as far away as Florida.
